Education spending in Britain is substantial, yet outcomes remain stubbornly uneven. A wave of technology-driven initiatives — from adaptive learning platforms to AI tutoring tools — promises transformation. CCR's Education workstream scrutinises whether that promise is being met and at what cost.

Our research examines the evidence base for current edtech investments, the incentive structures of the suppliers and schools involved, and what rigorous evaluation would actually require. Where evidence of value exists, we say so. Where it doesn't, we say that too.
